ABC made it official today as its freshman drama "The Nine" will return for its swan song on Wednesday, August 1 at 10:00/9:00c.

A notice on the show's official web site confirmed the news this afternoon.

Six of the 13 produced episodes have yet to air of the series, which was pulled from the Alphabet's schedule back in November and subsequently canceled earlier this year. Fans expecting a definitive conclusion however will no doubt be disappointed as the show's central plot isn't resolved by the 13th episode.

The show's 10 ensemble cast members were a hot commodity during the past development season, including Tim Daly (ABC's "Private Practice"), Lourdes Benedicto (ABC's "Cashmere Mafia"), Kim Raver (NBC's "Lipstick Jungle") and Chi McBride (ABC's "Pushing Daisies").

è vero l'ho letto anch'io... dal primo agosto ripartono gli episodi! beh brava abc, in fondo è estate e mettere le serie che non sono andate bene di inverno è un'ottima mossa! però non so se riprenderò a guardarlo... vedrò!

diciamo la verità...era una buona idea... ma non era un gran telefilm...discreto ma niente di più...vediamo se si evolverà, ma rimarremo cmq senza un degno finale(ormai ci stiamo abituando a serie senza finali)..

Vabbè, spero che avremo i sub così concluderemo almeno la serie e potremo sapere com'era fino alla fine... a me piaceva, non era la mia preferita e non dubito a dire che ce ne fossero di meglio, ma comunque mi farebbe piacere concluderla. Speriamo che qualcuno si sprechi a tradurla per noi poveri sfigati...
