Giuro che ogni volta che vedo Doctor Who mi pento di aver voluto fare lingue
[TEXT: The meditation begins...]
DOCTOR: How many days have I been here?
BORS: ...about three hours?
D: Three hours?!
B: Well, nearly.
D: Maybe Clara is right, she keeps telling me I've got attention deficit... uh... something or other.
B: What is your journey?
D: You can't come with me, Bors.
B: I'm pledged to your service, ever since you saved my life!
D: I didn't save your life, you had a splinter!
B: Where is it you go, and why must you... meditate first?
D: Someone I know is very sick. They want to see me before... while there's still time.
B: An old friend?
D: Someone I've known a very long time.
B: If there is danger, let me ride at your side.
D: You can't help me. Not where I'm going. I have to get myself ready. I have to be alone. And I have to think. No more distractions.
B: As you wish, Sir Doctor.
D: Ugh. Hang on a minute! The water.
B: The water, sir?
D: I don't like it. I can't meditate properly without decent water.
We're going to build a well right on, uh, this spot. There will be excellent water, right here.
B: How'd you know?
D: Ah! I'm very good at water. ((RIVER ANYONE??))
[TEXT: Day 5]
D: This is definitely a good spot for water.
B: This is the-- twelfth place you made us dig.
D: Well, twelve is my lucky number. ((LOL))
[TEXT: Days 8-11]
Look at this grass!
This is watery grass!
Follow the squelchy!
[TEXT: Day 12]
B: Well. You have all the water you need now, and it's the finest in the land. Your meditation can begin.
D: Yes, I suppose it can. Except...
D: You know what this well really needs?
B: Nothing, it's perfect.
D: A visitors' center.
[TEXT: Day 17]
B: Everyone has agreed on your plan for the throne room extension, but we're not quite sure what you mean by a "sun roof."*
D: Look at this coin, see it?
B: I see it.
D: Where is it now?
D: No, it isn't.
B: Yes, it is, I saw it.
D: Are you sure? I'm really a very good magician.
B: What is it you dread?
D: Why would I dread anything?
B: You're always making jokes. You never sit still. Like a man who fears the days to come.
D: Thought you were an idiot.
B: I know, I thought that too.
D: Good. I was worried I'd have to break it to you.
[TEXT: Day 21]
B: Are you sure?
D: I've been avoiding it. One last night, and I have to go.
B: You wish to be alone?
D: I have to prepare myself.
B: Why? You never explained.
D: I did something wrong. I let somebody down, when I should have been bright enough, strong enough to do better. So now I pay the price. Tonight, I make myself free.
B: Goodbye, magician. You have widened my mind.
D: You do realise you're still an idiot?
D: Good. I have to be quiet now. Quiet as a grave.
B: I cannot believe you're capable of silence. ((Nemmeno noi, Bors. Nemmeno noi.))
D: Oh! Oh, oh, we, we'll see about that, shall we?
B: We shall, Sir Doctor.
D: [whispering] No more distractions. Got to focus. No more distractions.
Are you any good with broadswords?
D: Fancy a friendly? ((IL CUCCHIAINO!! MUOIO!!))
B: Enough, magician! I do not believe that you meditate, it's not in your nature. If this is to be your last night here, then we shall celebrate. There shall be revels. But first.
B: Tell me your story. Tell me why you came to this place and why now you're compelled to leave it. I will not depart this room until you do so.
D: I suppose I do owe you...
B: I have served you loyally, Sir Doctor.
D: Yes. Yes you have.
B: Then begin your tale.
D: Ah, well. A little while ago, a very long way from here... I was looking for a bookshop. Instead, I found a battlefield. Story of my life.
I've seen many battlefields... but this one will be different.
D: This one...
D: ...will be my last.

*Non riuscivo proprio a capire "throne room" e "sun roof", meno male che una ragazza è venuta in mio soccorso xD
