Ehm, non vedo OTH dalla 5^ stagione ma stavo girando per la sezione e..
Le riflessioni a inizio/fine puntata e le citazioni le ho sempre amate.. Lucas
: (Voice Over) Shaw was right: as we strain to grasp the things we desire,… the things we think will make our lives better:… money, popularity, fame… we ignore what truly matters… the simple things: like friendship, family, love. The things we probably already had.Peyton
: (Voice Over) This year, I wished for love. To immerse myself in someone else and to wake a heart long afraid to feel. My wish was granted... and if having that is tragic, then give me tragedy. Because I wouldn't give it back for the world.
(V.O.) Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote: There is no privacy that cannot be penetrated. No secret can be kept in a civilised world. Society is a masked ball, where everyone hides his real character, then reveals it by hiding.
: Does this darkness have a name? This cruelty, this hatred, how did it find us? Did it steal into our lives, or did we seek it out and embrace it? What happened to us? That we now send our children into the world like we send young men to war... Hoping for their safe return... But knowing that some will be lost along the way. When did we lose our way? Consumed by the shadows, swallowed whole by the darkness. Does this darkness have a name? Is it your name?
: (Voice Over) My name is Lucas Scott. I’m a senior year student of Tree Hill High. Tree Hill is just a place somewhere in the world. Maybe it's a lot like your world. Maybe it's nothing like it. But if you look closer you might see someone like you. Someone trying to find their way. Someone trying to find their self. Sometimes it's easy to feel like you're the only one in the world who's struggling, who's frustrated, or unsatisfied, or barely getting by. That feelings a lie. And if you just hold on. Just find the courage to face it all for another day. Someone or something will find you and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes. Someone to help us hear their music in the world. To remind us that it won't always be this way. That someone is out there. And that someone will find you.
