Tricia Helfer in Lie to Me
Qualcuno va via - Mekhi Phifer - qualcun altro arriva: Tricia Helfer. L’ex di Bettalestar Galactica ha accettato un ruolo da guest star in un episodio della terza stagione di Lie to Me, lo annuncia in esclusiva TV Guide.

L’attrice interpreterà Naomi, una donna attratta da Lightman (Tim Roth) nonostante la frustrazione per non riuscire a nascondergli nulla. La situazione si complicherà quando Naomi chiederà a Lightman di proteggerla dal suo ex fidanzato, una missione che questa volta porterà quest’ultimo a chiedersi se sia stata la donna a compromettere la sua improvvisa incapacità di scoprire le bugie.

Helfer, vista anche in Duro a morire e Human Target, recentemente ha recitato nel nuovo drama di TNT Dark Blue.

La terza stagione di Lie to Me andrà in onda negli USA dal 10 novembre. La seconda terminerà invece il 13 settembre.

Un ruolo per Jamie Hector in Lie to Me

Jamie Hector, diventato famoso grazie al ruolo di uno spietato spacciatore nello show di culto della HBO The Wire, ha firmato per apparire nella prossima season premiere di Lie to Me. La notizia è stata confermata all’Hollywood Reporter da Kelli Williams, attrice che nella serie veste i panni di Gillian Foster.

“Nel primo episodio ci occuperemo di una grossa rapina in banca”, ha raccontato l’attrice. “Avremo anche un episodio incentrato sulle gang, al quale parteciperà un’altra attrice meravigliosa, Monique Curnen. Hector, invece, si è unito al cast con una specie di ruolo ricorrente, probabilmente un poliziotto corrotto”.

Alla terza stagione, in onda dal 10 novembre (la seconda proseguirà in Italia dal 23 settembre su Fox), parteciperanno inoltre la nominata all’Emmy Shawn Doyle (Big Love) e l’attrice di Battlestar Galactica Tricia Helfer. “La adoro”, ha detto la Williams parlando della Helfer. “Naturalmente ho seguito Battlestar e penso che la riconosceremo molto in Lie to Me. Ma non sarà un Cylon, e questo mi rende davvero felice!”.

io credo che sia una cosa buona...cioè finalmente gil metterà cal con le spalle al muro riguardo le sue responsabilità...insomma lui deve tutto a lei se il ligthman group esiste ancora, ma da quanto abbiamo visto nel nuovo promo non soltanto lui sembra non ricordarsene,ma la tratta pure da semplice impiegata.... spero che gill gliene dica 4 "sarai anche un grande scienziato, ma sei una frana nel tenere i conti, una rischio per la tua stessa compagnia, oltre che uno che infrange la legge ogni giorno più o meno... sei importante come lo sono io,ergo: o mi tratti con rispetto o ciao"

foster è 3 gradini sopra loker  dai scherzo lo dico perchè so che ti piace molto 
cmq io credo che questo scontro sia proprio il preludio per la nostra agognata storia d'amore tra cal e gill  litigando magari capiranno(soprattutto cal) che si amano

anch'io penso che questa nuova situazione possa essere positiva, anche per le dinamiche di tutto il gruppo...e comunque questi spoiler mi danno un po' l'impressione di essere pompati, "devastating consequences"...e che succederà mai????
Di sicuro c'è bisogno di una persona che rimetta in riga o almeno tenga testa a Cal può essere Foster, il cattivo di turno o il primo fattorino che passa per l'ufficio...

Su Loker e Torres non ci conto minimamente, il primo non ha le palle per dire niente a Cal, mentre la Torres ormai lo asseconda e lo segue nelle sue pazzie
Magari un cattivo della stagione potrebbe fare qualcosa, ma preferisco che sia Foster ad usare la frusta

Io ho scritto quella cosa perchè l'attore Brendan Hines ha postato su Twitter diverse fotografie di Kelli Williams da sola o insieme a lui, il che mi fa pensare che forse nella terza stagione ricominceranno a lavorare insieme Foster e Loker come avveniva nella prima.

beh sarebbe il caso di rimischiare le coppie   se vogliono tenere ancora i personaggi di locker e torres farebbero meglio a dargli piu spazio, altrimenti è meglio che si decidano

I know. Fox killed and buried Lone Star so quickly that it’s almost hard to be happy that its demise has led to the third-season premiere of Lie to Me  being bumped up from Nov. 10 to…um, Monday (when it assumes the DOA drama’s time slot). But try to be happy anyway, okay? Series lead Tim Roth and I have even come up with five excellent reasons why you should forgive his show for jumping into Lone Star‘s grave.

5. He feels funny about the situation too. “What happened to Lone Star…I’m sad for those guys,” he says. “A lot of passion goes into making a TV show, [so] it must be very heartbreaking to have that happen.”

4. He truly feels that season 3 of Lie to Me “will be our strongest,” he says, adding that his character, profiler Cal, may look back as he moves forward. “We’ll go into his past more, and there are women who are going to come up in his life. The relationship he has with his daughter opens up as well as his relationship with Foster.”

3. In the wake of Ben’s shooting, the Lightman Group is playing a whole new ballgame. “Lightman cuts ties with the FBI,” Roth reveals. Luckily, “Ben is not dead…or is he?”

2. “The crooked cop played by Monique [Gabriela Curnen] comes back,” Roth says. And when she does, the question becomes, will Cal use their relationship to help Internal Affairs bust her?

1. There are guest stars galore—including a Gilmore Girls alum. David “Rory’s Dad” Sutcliffe has just sealed a deal to appear in episode 7 as a Tony Robbins type, Annette “Clark Kent’s Mom” O’Toole pops up in episode 4 as a woman with early-onset Alzheimer’s, and in episode 5, Battlestar Galactica‘s Tricia Helfer passes through as…actually, I don’t care what she passes through as. If she’s passing through, I’m there.
